Before I began to steep this tea I was woried that it was going to be a plain tasting cup, but as soon as I took my first sip Only one thought came to mind…. Comfort.
Describe in one word: Comforting
I lost my grandmother on June 24, 2009. She was my best friend. My world.
She and I were both insomniacs. We would sit in the kitchen watching Seinfeld, playing cards, and…. drinking hot tea. We would stay up until 4a.m. doing just that and would make pot after pot of tea. I have not had one cup of tea since I lost her so this month is going to be a flood of emotions and memories.
How will this work?
– I am going to post the tea that I am trying every day along with an outline of what I think, then at the end of every week I will go into further detail.

Tea: Teatulia’s Bengal Breakfast Tea
Steeped 2 minutes
Very rich aroma.
Bold yet not overwhealming.
Once I added creamer the flavor seemed to intensify and I was able to fully enjoy.
